For many years, I resisted the temptation to provide hosting to my clients, preferring to recommend hosts ideally suited for each set of needs. Recently, the state of the art in hosting has improved to the point that I can now confidently join the ranks of hosting providers, secure in the knowledge that the LightSites servers are of the highest quality, and have customizable feature-sets far exceeding the capabilities of the most expensive servers of five years ago, and I can do it at extremely reasonable rates, also customised to my clients' needs.
I do not seek hosting clients per se, but rather provide this as a service to my existing and future web-design clients, and for those whose sites I either serve as webmaster for, or have been asked to 'rescue' from other hosting providers.
If I design your site, do you have to be hosted by me? ABSOLUTELY NOT! There are any number of reasons or scenarios in which a client may opt to retain or pursue non-LightSites hosting, yet still have a LightSites designed site. LightSites never makes hosting a condition of design. Period.
