Jewelers Vigilance Committee launches their new site, with a host of exciting features. Running on a robust CMS (Content Management System) that allows JVC personnel total administrative and creative control of the site, this extremely content-heavy site utilizes a DHTML menu, multi-column design and a powerful MySQL database under the hood.

The Connecticut Rebels My daughters are seriously into softball. My big pro-bono project for this year has been to create the ultimate sports-team site for their travel/tournament team. The CT Rebels site is built on the incredible Subdreamer CMS framework, with a MySQL database engine. It features a host of dynamic elemnts and an extremely sophisticated user management system that allows tiered acces to parents, players, coaches and administrators.

Kelley Oberreit is one of America's most exciting new jewelry designers. I'm especially proud of this one - it utilizes a sharp fading menu feature, a subtle Flash logo, and most importantly a full-blown shopping cart with real-time online cc verification.

The Norwalk Symphony is a project that's very near and dear to my heart - I'm a violinist in the orchestra, and created and maintain the site pro bono. This arrangement has afforded me the opportunity to use the site as a platform for a number of special features like an online quiz, a discussion board, private players-only and board-members-only sections and a lot more.

Site rescue... Recently, I've been asked to 'rescue' a number of high-profile sites from the control of webmasters with whom the client's relationship has become adversarial. In such a situation, where the former webmaster has become uncommunicative and will not cooperate with the client, I'll attempt to affect a reconciliation so that the transfer of control of the site can be made smoothly, but failing that, the existing site can be captured and moved to a new server, thus restoring full control of the site and its content and management to the site owner.
And then there's LightSites... Like many web builders, I've been so busy attending to the needs of my clients, I've woefully neglected my own site.
